William Hill and Playtech are to begin discussions of the future of their joint venture.

These are two massive names in online casino and gambling on the internet and they have been super successful in 2011 with rumoured profits around the 400+ Million pounds. For a while now the 2 companies have not been in synch and need to clarify these recurring issues if they are to continue.

Indusry insiders are keeping a keen eye on the developments and have commented on how the 2 casino companies have conflicitng cultural identities, and many sight this fundamental difference as part of the problem.

This story gets slightly more detailed because over the years Playtech have acquired and now owns  almost 30% of William Hill Online. The percentage was in exchange for the online casino platform and support from Playtech that has made the UK betting firm so popular.

Some say that it may be the best solution for William Hill to buy back the 30% from the software provider and to either into a new agreement or look at new casino platforms.

The thing that is that I recently joined William Hill Online to try out some of their basic ScratchCards and must admit that there is still some room for improvement in that department.
