Unibet buys Bet24

I read an exciting piece of gambling news yesterday that I thought I would share, it seems as if Unibet has purchased bet24.

Last year Unibet started a purchasing spree when they took over Eurosportsbet and have continued in 2012 with bet24. As always with these huge deals there has been speculation that after the deal is done 100% that the figures would be around the €14 million mark.

I logged onto the bet24 site and was surprised to see that they have a casual games section too with slots, lottery style games and even good old scratch cards.

Bet24 actually looks like a decent online casino plus they have built a reasonably strong foothold in the European sports betting industry. This would be an extremely strategic move from Unibet who in the next while will re-brand the casino site to suit their standards.
